Good bits: For this size and portability it is just great synth. It sounds good and has good connectivity. Battery life about 4-6 hours. Plugged in charger does not make any hiss, buzz.
Bad bits: Sounds are quite similar with minor differences, no pitchbending. Quite a process to program sequences. Once one learns it its just a matter of pressing those buttons, but if not used for while, need to learn again.

Fantastic arpegiator, that you can use as a midi controller. It has a ton of different chords, really simple to use. Really really powerful sequencer!!!

Simple and inspiring

The Roland J-6 is very easy to use and offers an enjoyable experience with its preset chords and arpeggiator. The limited sound-shaping options didn’t seem like a drawback to me; I find it well-suited for quick creativity and musical exploration.

Roland presents this good option cost/benefit. In my opinion, this is a good alternative if you need one compact syntesizer for compose pop or electronic music.
