Trombone for the winter
maki42 24.12.2018
I use this trombone mostly for marching bands and gigs where quality is not important as much. It's great for using during the winter, if you play outside a lot, since the material doesn't get cold as fast as traditional brass instrument.

The instrument is very light and easy to handle, easy to carry around. it's perfect for beginners and even professionals.

I'd recommend to use the metal mouthpiece (the one I ordered has small shaft), because the plastic mouthpiece that comes with the instrument is kind of weird at first, and I get a slightly nicer sound when I use the metal mouthpiece.

The instrument came with two mouthpieces - 6 1/2 A and 11C, so you can start playing right away!

I'd also suggest to use some kind of regular slide oil (I use slide-o-mix), because the slide is kind of loud.

Otherwise, great price-performance buy!

It works!

Bought it as a gift to our band's singer/trombone player. It doesn't have the nice sizzle of a brass instrument but the sound is decent. For the price it's hard to beat.

P
Great budget trombone
PavelN 04.07.2020
As a first time trombone player I could not afford a proper brass one and this one fits the bell just right. Of course it does not sound as good as a "real" one, but that is expected and to be honest for a plastic instrument it sounds pretty good and plays pretty well. I would recommend it for beginners or for guys who play other instruments and want to try something new as I did and dont want to spend fortune for proper brass horn.

PBone Test
