And after a little "session" with a customer rep from Mojotone, this was selected. I got the shipment and loaded the speaker in the amp, and now I can stand to be in the same room as the amp when it's cranked up a bit.
So if you are looking for a speaker to round off, make the sound a bit smoother. This is it.

Mojotone Leichtgewicht mit großem Sound

Als der Karzon ankam, dachte ich er sei leer! So leicht ist dieser Speaker, Gewicht ca. 2Kg. Der Sound ist wie erhofft. Klingt wie eine Mischung aus Celestion V30 und Greenback G12H. Sehr präsent, durchsetzungsfähig und straff in den Bässen. Jefoch ohne die stechenden, kratzigen Höhen, die man von den neueren V30 Speakern kennt und fürchtet. Für mich die Entdeckung des Jahres. Klingt wie ein gut eingespielter vintage Celestion eben. Obwohl er bereits „broken in“ ist, verbesserte sich der Klang in den ersten paar Wochen nochmal deutlich.
Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.
