The Korg Volca FM2 is a compact, portable synthesizer that brings the iconic sound of classic FM (Frequency Modulation) synthesis into a modern, user-friendly package. An updated version of the original Volca FM, the Volca FM2 features a 6-voice polyphony, allowing for richer and more complex sounds. It’s fully compatible with the sounds and patches of the legendary Yamaha DX7, making it a powerful tool for recreating and tweaking vintage FM sounds.
The Volca FM2 includes a built-in 16-step sequencer with motion sequencing, allowing you to automate parameter changes and create evolving patterns. The addition of a new reverb effect enhances the sonic possibilities, adding depth and ambiance to your sounds. The unit also features a randomization function for both the sequencer and the sound engine, offering instant inspiration and creative exploration.
Connectivity options include MIDI In, Sync In/Out, and a 3.5mm headphone output, making it easy to integrate the Volca FM2 into any setup, whether you're in the studio or performing live. It’s battery-powered and has a built-in speaker, making it highly portable and ideal for making music on the go. With its intuitive controls and powerful sound engine, the Korg Volca FM2 is a versatile synthesizer that appeals to both beginners and seasoned musicians looking to explore FM synthesis.

This yoke is bangin'

With 60-ish programs and 32 algorithms for each one, this yoke has given me no end of joy.
Only criticisms are the lack of tempo display, and I could do with a step mode but sure look it. Overall, into it big time, my little Volca F*** Machine

FM 2 rocks

Ich habe auch den Volca FM der 1. Generation.
