I play classical guitar, so I needed a footrest that I could bring to my guitar lessons, use at home, and use on stage.
PROS:
*Sturdy.
*It doesn't glide on the floor due to the rubber feet.
*It's adjustable to several different heights.
*It fits in the front-pocket of a gig-bag.
*Very good value for money.
CONS:
There are none!

not so solid as expected
Swords 08.01.2021
Design, materials and feel
The paint and overall the materials ( the rubber, and metal parts) feels like quality, and nice to touch!
Solid?
Yes its solid but not for guys who weight more than 100 kg i Guess) My weight is 115 kg's and its already bended a little here and there, the frame deformed..But still works)) does the job!
I dont know this might be my fall may be I have accidentally pushed on it too much thats why it happened ? I dont know..
Overall nice piece )

L
sturdy, elegant and functional especially for studying the bass guitar
Lookaji 08.10.2024
Bought this footrest to improve the ergonomics of my studying time both on the guitar and on the bass.
On the latter, I am switching to the classic guitar holding position to avoid strain on the right hand wrist: usually the forearm lies on the side of the bass guitar body and makes a 90 degrees fold towards the pickups.
With this footrest I can hold the bass guitar in my lap thanks to the elevated leg and keep a straight line on my wrist.
Reaching the top of the long fretboard now is a matter of exercise and might take a while to accomplish but I believe it is more important to avoid any carpal stress. Previously I have used some wood blocks - so this is definitely a welcome upgrade.
On a first inspection, the K&M 14670 Footrest is well made and fully adjustable - the price is totally reasonable too - it is a keeper!

The best footrest ever (*)
Davor T. 13.11.2014
It's stable, fully adjustable, and it can take a lot of beating without a trace. A must have, whether you are a beginner or already a seasoned player.
Made for duration and stability, the rubber "legs" protect from sliding on any surface, except ice - we didn't test it on ice. It was tested however on lacquered wooden floors, marble, plastic (linoleum), carpets, asphalt.
Trully a recommendable product!
(*) Except for the one on the left of the brake in a Corvette
