Die Hihat fügt sich natürlich nahtlos in die Xist Dry Dark Serie ein. Mit 15“ hat sie in der Produktpalette der Xist Dry dark Serie noch gefehlt. Äußerst vielseitig und genreübergreifend. Auch für verschiedene Dynamikstufen ist sie vielseitig einsetzbar. Alles in allem eine wahnsinnig tolle Hihat.
Verarbeitung:
Auch mit dem brilliant Finish sieht sie noch etwas grob aus, aber deutlich weniger rustikal als die rohen Geschwister. Ansonsten ist die gewohnt hohe Qualität gegeben, die Becken sind bzgl. des Gewichtes gut abgestimmt, haben keine scharfen Kanten. Toll.

I can't praise them enough; loved these from the very first glance. They have easily become my main hats. Manufacturing quality is great, as is the case with all Istanbul Agop cymbals I ever bought and played. These have a very special finish, absolutely beautiful; I'd say somewhere in-between matte brilliant with some subtle contrasted raw patches. Top hat is significantly lighter than the bottom one. Distinctive "chick" sound, somewhat raw but elegant. Dynamic and explosive, higher pitched, bright, smooth and pointed attack and also a dark, very quick decay. It may not be to everyone's taste, because it's not the traditional "good-for-all" hi-hat sound, but, from my personal point of view these are wonderful hats, and can be easily used in all musical genres. 5 stars!
