This speaker is great for speeches, it performs well outdoors, it can be heard very well in a crowd of 200-300 people. Music also sounds good, but you'll probably want a stronger speaker for music. The average power consumption for playing rock music is around 50-60W at its maximum level, and this is pure RMS power. Everyone who owns a 50W guitar amp knows that this is A LOT. The sound is very clean and it spreads pretty evenly in space. Be aware that it does NOT have a battery. I have only one negative remark: the bluetooth receiver has a pretty weak range compared to some other bluetooth speakers. You should keep your phone or PC close to it (not more than 5 meters away) to avoid drop-outs. All in all, excellent speaker.

Very goog small PA for this price!
FunkyM 04.10.2020
Use
1. With DJ mixer output to PL108A line-in, for reproducing sound of vinyls on a small parties (<50 people).
2. As a Full-range monitors for guitar multi-effects processor.
3. Music listening from Bluetooth and karaoke sing-along with wired of wireless mic.
Clarity
Description is very good. Need to mention that mp3 player/Bluetooth is not working together with line-in (RCA input). But there is workaround - input line source to Mic input, in this case - works with line-in (RCA input).
pros:
Very good sound for the budget. Without sub-woofer possibly lack of lows, but with sub-woofer (at least 200W) - very full and balanced sound. We are using them as keyboard and guitar monitor, not too loud but good for small gigs. For playback from vinyl/mp3 or bluetooth - very good and economic solution. Main benefit - very light weight PA with many options.
No cons detected at the moment.
Thank Thomann for excellent technical support service and for fast delivery of this product!

Cehap but quite good
McFab 10.12.2019
It's a basic loudspeaker, but for this price, it sounds good.
It was installed in a pub in order to listen to the music and the television.
Very easy to use: just connect the plugs and switch on.
Unfortunately I have to replace one of the three installed after 2,5 years because it broke.

Decent Sound, But Lacks Punch
MisterDj 11.10.2024
The Fun Generation PL 108 A is a solid option if you’re looking for an affordable, compact speaker for smaller events or practice sessions. It’s lightweight and easy to set up, which makes it a great choice for those who need a portable PA solution.
The sound quality is decent for the price, with clear mids and highs that work well for vocals and speech. It’s suitable for small venues or home use, where you don’t need a massive sound output. However, the bass response is limited, so it doesn’t deliver the deep, full-bodied low-end that some might expect from a larger speaker. It’s not a deal-breaker if you understand the size and price limitations, but don’t expect it to fill larger spaces with rich bass.
One downside is that the build quality feels a bit on the lighter side, so extra care is needed during transport to avoid damage. But for the price, it’s understandable and manageable if you handle it with care.
Overall, the Fun Generation PL 108 A is a good budget-friendly choice for smaller setups. It’s great for speech, practice, and background music, but if you’re after booming bass and powerful output, you may want to consider adding a subwoofer or looking for a larger option.
