Really awesome bass in this price range
NikG1 21.04.2022
First of all, I am guitarist and I have some very decent guitars in my collection so it may not be the most fair review. So starting with the bad: one of the volume controls on my first bass failed after a week. Thomann dealt with this amazingly well and I got a new bass fairly quickly. The other poor feature is that the bass requires a complete setup (the neck was completely off and needed truss rod adjustments as well as the intonation); something that could be frustrating if you are a beginner. Having done all the set up, I think the bass sounds really good and is really playable, so overall a really, really good instrument for the money. I highly recommend this.

Great budget bass!
Fender Alancaster 29.11.2021
Finally decided to take the plunge and buy a bass guitar. As a guitarist, it was recommended to buy one on the lower end of the cost scale - but not too low. Came across this bass on YouTube and my inner Phil Lynott fan wanted it immediately.

For a €250 guitar this is a fine piece of equipment. It looks great, and after some minor tweaks and adjustments it plays great too. A rather dynamic bass which can fit various styles. However, please don't expect it to feel the same as its €2500 AM P or J counterparts. It does feel it came straight from the conveyor belt at the factory, but who cares really?

Its worth every penny of the 254 that I paid for it. Great for learning licks and bashing around on and is really cool to look at!

JG
Value for money
Johnny Go Lightly 03.11.2024
For this price point this is a well made value for money guitar.
Pros : Looks great, sounds good, build quality of the wood, surprisingly nice fret board.
Cons: there has to be some for 250 odd euros.
Tuners lack a little precision. The bridge is cheap as chips.

This guitar needs to be completely set up. Out of the box set up is awful. But with a little time & patience and a good set up this will sing & play as good as any 400+ euro bass. Its not top shelf but will set up well. Highly recommended .
