Reliable. Versatile. Durable.

No-nonsense picks from an established company.

I am not fond of overly expensive picks. It is a tool, I do not need a pick which has been crafted from a meteorite from another dimension.

But I want something quality that I can rely upon. These are those picks.

I use these picks for both electric guitar and also for electric bass. The only time I use a different pick is for playing very strummy passages, where I prefer a thin nylon pick. I can't rate pick thickness, this is such a personal thing. I love the way these thick picks punish you for making a mistake. Others will hate the sound. I can't rate something so different for everyone.

But having a pick that can stand all the recording I do and maintain its edge is great.

The only reason I am getting more is that I lost the previous ones that I had. This is an entirely natural occurrence, and lends further weight to me not buying expensive picks.

I can think of nothing negative to say about these picks that wouldn't be personal preference. They work and they're good value.

A
The perfect pick!

Most of us guitarists ignore the influence of pick to the tone.

But here is where it all begins!
Not at the strings, pickup, guitar or Amp - the pick is the first thing - and it's in your hand!
So don't save your money and ignore even these little things in guitarist-life.

Let's see:
A good pick needs a good grip, so you won't lose it.

It has too feel ergonomic, so it will be one with your fingers and won't get tired of holding it.

It should hit the strings hard enough without stopping you motion.

It should release the strings fast, rolling-off and without killing the tone.

The material shouldn't swallow the tone.

Well... It sounds impossible?

No!!!

Buy Dunlop Big Stubby picks - and you'll see!

I use 1.00mm and 2.00mm

Only picks I use from now on.

Bought there picks because the recess in the middle seemed interesting. Picks shifting position between the finger due to lack of grip are a recurring issue in my playing. They did help a lot with my playing and I started using them exclusively. Highly recommended.
