These picks are rock solid, the grip is wondeful, I played with Jazz III for a long time, then switched to JP Jazz picks, I decided to make a switch and give this pick a try because of the nice reviews and wow they delivered!

VW
Dunlop ultex + Dunlop design beats all!
Vintage Wage 28.04.2020
Just picked up one that I’d bevelled for left handed earlier and was blown away! Already using jazz iii and jazz iii 2.0 ultex and. I’ve also bought most of the niche picks around including gravity, chicken, V, dava, Wegen et al and Dunlop is just a good if not better. STILL!
The flow design with a bevel cuts thru the strings like butter yet it still projects! It Just goes to show these guys are still relevant!
On a Taylor nylon you can reconomy pick your way to shred heaven, as you can on an acoustic, an Ibanez RG, or an Epi LP or SG! Viva Dunlop! RIP Jim.

The grip is not as good as the Ibanez Sandgrips has, but the thickness is exactly what I need for chugging.

Heavy hitter? Look no further

I used to use custom made picks a few years back because nobody made large, tapered production picks. Now with these, I don't have to spend nearly as much, and they work just as well, if not better. The taper, or the angled part of the edge of the pick, offers a very precise and fast attack, while the thickness enables you to put more force on the strings, resulting in a, to me, more aggressive sound, all the while without you needing to hit as hard as you would with a lighter pick.
I use these picks on 7 string baritones mainly, playing fast and heavy, which is what they seem to be made for! The material of the pick is textured, and the inner area has little knobs for extra grip; certainly you won't drop these easily!
The best picks I've used in my 15 years of playing. Before going with custom picks I used mainly gator-grip 1.14 and 1.50, and these are miles ahead of them.
