It’s amazing to have an expression pedal with the classic built in toe switch. Just a heads up though, can’t be powered by usb. Needs 9v or batts. But that’s fine cause it uses such little power. Just remember a usb isolator will probably be needed if you’re using a computer and real pedals on the same power supply.

Passend zur Eurus-GS1 habe ich mir dieses Pedal geleistet. Es hat seinen Preis, aber...es ist Weihnachten.
Die Qualität der Verarbeitung erscheint hoch, ich habe nichts nachteiliges erkannt.
Das Pedal benötigt eine App, die im App-Shop vorhanden und problemlos installierbar ist. Die App löst zwei Aufgaben: Modifikation von Parametern in der Pedal-Logik selbst und Herstellung sowie Aufrechterhaltung der Kommunikation mit dem Instrument.
Und dann gibt es ein "Handbuch"...
Hier hat der Hersteller einen Mittelweg gefunden, der zugunsten der Optimierung beim Hersteller und (m.E.) zulasten der Nerven des Users schlangenlinienartig verläuft.
Die logisch strukturierte, fachlich ausreichende und vollständige Darstellung eines technischen Sachverhaltes war schon immer ein besonderer Anspruch. Diesem wird Boss meiner Ansicht nach nicht gerecht.
Die Einstellung der Midi-Channels funktionierte...sorry, ich weiss es nicht mehr...ich glaube, ich habe zum Schluß alles auf Werksvoreinstellung zurückgesetzt. Der Knaller aber war der Versuch, die Kommunikation zwischen EV-1 und Instrument zu Laufen zu bekommen. Mikrohaft klein gedruckt existiert in einer dunklen Ecke des einblättrigen Manuals der Hinweis darauf, dass es ein "Connect-Manual" gibt. Irgendwann hatte die Suche danach auf der Boss-Info-Seite Erfolg. Es ist nur in Englisch verfügbar. Nach einigem Herumrätseln stellte sich heraus, dass die EV-1 - Instrumentverbindung (nur) durch eine spezielle Tastendruckkombination am EV-1 hergestellt wird. Kein besonderer Aufwand, kein technisches Wunderwerk und insbesondere kein Grund, die Connection von EV-1 und Instrument in einem eigenen PDF zu verstecken. Kopfschütteln.
Zusammenfassend: EV-1 läuft, macht seinen Job, liegt kabelfrei auf dem Boden und grinst mich mit seiner grün leuchtenden PowerLED an!

Nice to use with a Waza-Air

A nice accessory for use with a Waza-Air headset, especially if you were looking for a wireless footswitch as well.
It’s sad that Boss did not made a wireless independant footswitch to be used with Waza-air directly for people that don’t need wah or volume expression pedal, but it’s still a decent solution.
Be aware that your Waza-Air headset may requires a firmware update if not acquired very recently to be compatible with the pedal, and that this update process requires a computer (I don’t know why they don’t handle this through the app).
