Graphic EQThe company Artec is a relative new star in the sky for effects devices and is distinguished by solid quality and really appealing prices.
The Graphic Eq & Tuner is a double-pre-mix: an 8-band graphic equalizer allows you to tailor a desired sound, the frequencies are really well chosen. So you have practically a second sound available per amp channel.
If you press the tuner button, you can be correct with the help of the LED display. So you save yourself the precious space on the pedalboard for an additional pedal. It's virtually two for the price of one with the two parts being on one individual piece!

The idea of a 2 in 1 pedal with a Graphic EQ and Tuner really appealed to me as a space saver on the pedal board. I have an old Boss EQ pedal which is excellent, but the addition of the built in tuner sounded like a good option to save space. This pedal looks great and is well built, but the EQ is quite poor I'm afraid. I thought this would be just like my Boss EQ with a tuner built in, but it's not. The EQ on this pedal is very limited in that the range is not very linear. As you move the sliders up and down there is no discernible difference in the EQ until the sliders reach their max position, and even then the tone still isn't right for each frequency band. However, this is a very affordable pedal with some good features so all is not lost. I now use this pedal as a "Boost" in my effects loop when I need a bit more oomph for lead playing. I use it to boost the mids and my volume, and I can also check my tuning too!

Cheap Graphic EQ with Tuner
Ygvyth 30.11.2013
Hi.
First time when I decided to buy any Graphic EQ I was very confused which one to choose. There is hundreds of EQs on market. Becouse I'm practical person and I need quick tuner as well I decided to buy this one. 2 in 1 should be good. Nothing more wrong !! First things first:
Construction: Looks good, well done, size quite small, Jack sockets got like blocades or klick and cable wont plug out so easy. All ok, just DC input is in very bad place, and small knobs sometimes like to fall off.
Quality is ok.
Sound: Sound is good, any change on knobs, gives sometimes big differences. Very nice effect to change sound type during playing, like for solo, or separated riffs. If you have your favourite settings it can give a good kick and boost for your sound.
I use it with Metal Muff, and I plug it after MM for enchancing my sound.
NEED to be set properly otherwise there will be unwanted noises on the end.
Tuner is useless, total disaster. Very bad in tuning. Not worth.
Final word:
Artec Graphic EQ & Tuner is cheap and good EQ for somebody with smaller budget. It will do the job. It gives good range of sound shapeing and modeling.

Good for Bass
Daniel S. 289 17.08.2013
I use this pedal in combination with an E.B.S Metal drive for some lovely high end bass solos.
Not so good when used with batteries as the tuner fails to deliver but with a good power supply it delivers every time.

Versatile pedal
Anonymous 18.01.2017
8 band eq with gain. very versatile, you could set it as a mid boost or as an overdrive(pretty good one), and it's very nice in the effect loop for tone shaping. Tuner is meh, but gets the job done
