Workable.
g102064021 16.09.2020
The functionality is workable. No hum or noise heard when use. Tone won't be ruin when bypass or effect on.

For pros,
1. Affordable price:
I think there is no other 7 band graphic equalizer pedal product can be purchased by this affordable price.
2. Good look appearance:
In my opinion, this pedal has a BOSS-like appearance design and golden ratio (well...maybe almostly) dimension. The other similar low price EQ don't looks as well as this one. Moore is too slim, Artec si too corny...etc. Well, no offence, I think this is subjective and I write what I think.
3. Function workable:
This is the most important. Every frequency band worked as what frequency written.

For cons,
1. Not true-bypass:
I suggest Thomann should stop to advertise it is a true bypass pedal. I found the foot switch is a non-lock type and there are only 2 contact been controlled. It 's impossible to implement "true bypass" by this switch component with only 2 contact. But as I described above, I feel it not ruin my tone when bypass or effect on. I think non true bypass won't be problem.
2. Seems to be fragile
Although it looks like a BOSS pedal but the plastic part is thinner than and inferior to BOSS's. I haven't broken it after several times kick but I can feel it not stable as pedal from other major manufacture
3. Hard to find battery socket:
I don't have other pedal with same design for battery install. The manual inside doesn't describes it. So I have no idea to install battery. I have to youtube it myself then I learned how to install a battery.
4. No center detent on faders:
As other review describes, there is no center detent design on all the fader POTs so you can't adjust the level to precise 0dB. I can only ensure by aligning the line mark.

As a bass beginner, this pedal does be helpful to me for trying to be up on adjust tone of bass guitar. I think my penny is worth. This is absolutely best equalizer pedal choice to people has low budget.

Now that's DEEEEP!!!

I love this pedal, it can change the sound of your bass in all frequencies more than you could ever need. I use it to add a little extra depth to the low end and it works a treat.

It does hum/hiss slightly when you increase the higher frequencies but this would only really matter if you were using it for recording purposes and really wouldn't be any problem in a practice session or even on stage.

I am aware that everybody complains about it being made of plastic but it still feels very pretty robust and I fully believe it would hold up okay in a rough gigging environment.

For around 20 euros it's brilliant and there really is absolutely nothing to grumble about here.

This is my first Behringer pedal and after using this one, I am now happy to try out a few others.

Definitely recommended!!!

Update 24th Oct 2020.....
I am so glad I never payed more for a more expensive make, it's as good as anything else out there. Every time I use this pedal it brings a smile to my face. I play a few different bass's and this is so good at adjusting the overall sound of each very easily, accurately and quickly. The lower frequencies go way lower than you will ever need (unless you want to cause an earthquake!).

If you use batteries to power your pedals, changing one on the Behringer pedals is a little fiddley but I will also say the battery life in this particular pedal is very long so it's not something you'll be doing too often.

Ignore the grumblers... Yes, I'm sure It would feel nicer in a metal housing but after a hell of a lot of pretty heavy footed use in work-boots, despite the plastic case, I am now convinced it's pretty much indestructible.

Does the job
Nick Monke 19.05.2021
I was pleasantly surprised by this thing. Although Behringer is somewhat rough (there is little fine-tuning possible) it does help you to find your bass sounding within limits. Specially if you put this EQ ahaed of other effects. Couldn't find any real downsides. This pedal is sturdy enough to use anywhere and need nothing else but your own ears to give some comfort.
If you're on stage or working in a high level environment you may look for something else, but you won't find anything for this price.

pro sturdy and handling well, sounds pretty good too
best price to try out what is doing for you
con somewhat rough, so do not ask to much

I have a range of Behringer effect-pedals just to make sure the fx is what I am looking for. I may be grazy, but if I am convinced of the usefullness of an fx I simple look around at Thomann for a higher quality if need be. Behringer just brings so many stuff at very nice prices so it helps to find the best kitchen stuff you need to create good musical meals (Although you may want to look around for higher grade ingredients when convinced it is of your taste)
No need to send any back even if you do not find it very usefull. This stuff is very affordable and there will be some friends out there who are happy to find out for themselves what they like and need. Just buy one to try out, you can't go wrong

Useful but flimsy
AC 2bb 01.12.2019
I bought this as a tool to have around the studio to quickly EQ electronics and other sources because going into pedal cains. It does the job very well, although the faders feel very very cheap and innacurate, and the lack of mid-position notch makes using this even trickier. That said, pretty hard to beat that price, so I guess flimsy faders and a playmobil case is the trade off. Sound-wise, it sounds a lot better than the price tag suggests, boosting or cutting generously and without too much noise.
