I mainly use these for securing pages to a music stand - either directly or through a folder. They're strong enough that they will still work well through a certain amount of intermediary material such as pages of a book or a plastic folder.
Of course, they could also be used as a stylish means of holding notes to a metallic notice board or as fridge magnets.

Super strong magnets, just make sure your music stand is really made of metal, as it doesn't work on some cheaper ones.

These magnets have a rubber pad so that the metal of the magnet does not come in direct contact with the metal of the music stand. This should be helpful as the 'pings' of many magnets can be very audible when the musicians are changing their parts during an outdoors performance. However these magnets only partially solve the problem. My colleagues and I feel that a slightly softer rubber pad would be better, as there is still a signficant noise when these ones are used. However with care the noise is less than with standard magnets.

Ein kleiner Aufbewahrungsbeutel wäre schön, ist aber bei dem Preis auch kein Muss. Die eigentlichen Magnete sind ordentlich verarbeitet, bisher ist auch die dämpfende Schicht nicht abgeblättert o.ä., wie manchmal berichtet wurde. Dort wird sicher die Häufigkeit der Benutzung der ausschlaggebende Faktor sein. In meinem Fall nicht allzu hoch. Für Gelegenheits/Hobby-Musiker also auf jeden Fall in Ordnung. So viel zur Verarbeitung bzw. der Ausstattung.
Und die Funktion? Ja, so wie Magnete halt funktionieren, funktionieren auch diese. Haftet an allen Metallen, solange sie nicht bewusst unmagnetisch gemacht wurden. Am Kühlschrank wie am Notenständer sind sie bombenfest - sofern die Papierschicht nicht zu dick ist. Zwei oder drei Blätter? Ok, aber dann wird's auch langsam dünn. Man muss also austesten, wie viel Papier bei wie viel Wind noch so gerade ok ist. Leider sind die Magnete aber nicht so "silent" wie ich es mir erhofft hatte. Das Klicken ist deutlich dumpfer und weniger auffällig als bei unbeschichteten Magneten, aber immer noch deutlich hörbar. Man muss also auch ein bisschen üben, sie langsam auf das Notenpult zu senken. Da Musiker üblicherweise keine Grobmotoriker sind, sollte das aber machbar sein - außer vielleicht bei Schlagzeugern... ;-)
Alles in allem also: Ok, aber nicht perfekt. Profis brauchen vielleicht öfter mal neue...

...but still far better than undamped, that's how I would sum up the magnets. A small storage bag would be nice, but given the price it's not a must. The actual magnets are properly processed, and so far the damping layer has not peeled off or anything like that, as has sometimes been reported. The frequency of use will certainly be the deciding factor. In my case, not too high. Definitely fine for occasional/hobby musicians. So much for the workmanship and the equipment. And the function? Yes, just like magnets work, these work too. Adheres to all metals as long as they have not been deliberately made non-magnetic. They are bomb-proof on the refrigerator or on the music stand - as long as the paper layer is not too thick. Two or three sheets? Ok, but then things start to get thin. So you have to test how much paper is still ok in how much wind. Unfortunately, the magnets are not as "silent" as I had hoped. The click is much duller and less noticeable than with uncoated magnets, but still clearly audible. So you also have to practice a bit to slowly lower it onto the music stand. Since musicians usually don't have gross motor skills, this should be possible - except perhaps for drummers... ;-) All in all: OK, but not perfect. Professionals may often need new...
