This is a mini xlr cable for AKG headphones with mini xlr connection.
I must have purchased at least 4 or 5 cables in the 4 years I have the AKG K702.
The AKG K702 is an excellent headphone and the mini xlr is great too but the cable is made so it breaks after give or take one year of use!
replacement cables are pretty much the same.
I would advise anyone with the same problems to buy a braided cable and separate xlr connector and solder your own cable which is much more durable.
If you are like me than you need to have a cable without flaws to keep the flow going in the home studio!

Using for K-240
Eray Polat 31.07.2020
My 10 year old K-240's cable was broken and i needed a new cable. I had options to buy from third party brands but i wanted it to be from AKG. I'm glad that i did it.
When it comes to cable, actually it doesn't matter if you buy from original brand. But, when you do it, you feel confident. I also replaced foam nets and pads from AKG, my K-240 is like a brand new one right now. Thank you Thomann for fast shipping!

LOW QUALITY AVOID
Sullen Guest 19.10.2019
For this price, this cable feels extremely cheap and flimsy, very thin cable. It should be sturdy cable. If it would cost 25% of what it costs now I would leave a good reply, but this is a ripoff product, avoid and don't buy if possible.
Just find mini female XLR to 3.5 cable or 6.3mm Cable alternative
