In between a crash and an FX cymbal

I was looking for a cymbal for trashy accents, which was less harsh than a China or other FX cymbal.

The K Cluster Crash fitted the bill perfectly. There is a definite subtle trashiness, but not so much that it doesn’t feel like a crash still. The cymbal also feels very nice under the stick, as it is so thin and has give when played, same as the K Sweet line.

This cymbal could be used as an all purpose crash, but for me I would keep it for accenting as an alternative to the other effects cymbals.

Platillo de enorme calidad, con un sonido potente y protagonista dentro del conjunto. Acabado brillante y un sonido de la campana que recuerda un Ride.
Precio acorde con su calidad.

Hoewel het een crash is, gebruik ik ‘m ook als ride, dan geeft het een helder geluid. Als crash is hij heerlijk trashy! De cup klinkt prachtig: de klank komt goed door, zonder te overheersen.
