The perfect desk
ThomasP666 25.05.2020
I have been debating on buying this desk for sometime. I shouldn’t have waited so long. Ordering process was great, arrived a lot sooner than expected. Yes it is one large heavy box with a smaller box accompanying it but I did manage to put the desk together myself.

The main tricky part in the build process where you may need help is putting the desk top on, but apart from that with patience and a long drink next to you, you will be fine. Obviously lifting each piece from the box rather than lifting the large box to your studio or room.

The desk itself is high quality. Solid well crafted finish, and when finished I actually looked upon it with pride as it just looks so good in my studio. Gives that professional look and with the cable drawer hidden on the back no more unsightly wires and plugs hanging down the wall or on the floor. This is my only improvement I would have wanted is a deeper cable drawer at the back. There is enough room to have had it go to the back edge of the desk thus allowing more space for plugs, extensions and the cables for your audio equipment but it’s still sufficient.

The keyboard slide out drawer is genius and with such a smooth quality mechanism it’s just brilliant. I was concerned about leg restriction reports on other feedback but not a problem for me. I am 6 ft tall and plenty of leg room but I do like to sit low anyway.

Great piece of furniture and for the price and zero shipping costs to the UK, couldn’t recommend this more highly.

This desk is exactly what I was expecting.

Massive, beautiful and sturdy.

I mainly chose it because of two reasons:
- It is able to host a P-45 stage piano
- The colour matched my studio (it it not one colour. The structure is medium grey, the main surface of the desk is very dark grey)

On top of that, it has a sturdy design (it does not vibrate like the cheap desks)
Cable management is standard (not great not poor)
It NEEDs around 3 hours to set up if you do it alone

It IS pricey, however you get what you paid for.

I am very happy with this studio desk, it was a long search for a table that suits me and I still have room between my legs and the keybordslider. and you can store the cables well.

A
Quality built studio desk on a budget
Anonymous 01.10.2016
I bought the Zaor Miza M desk for my home studio. It was delivered in two large boxes, one weighing about 30kg and the other around 70kg. All the parts for the desk were extremely well packaged with plenty of foam and padding. I was a little apprehensive about buying a flat pack desk but most of the hard work had already been done. The sliding drawer fixtures were already mounted and you only need to attach a series of locking screws and slot it all together to get it built. I put it together on my own in under 45mins. The building instructions are a little brief but fairly easy to follow.
The quality of the desk feels very good, very solid and has a pleasing finish, i had no worries about loading all my gear straight on top of it. Be aware that the colour of the top desk surface is a lot darker than in the picture, though it does look very smart.
The sliding drawer has a very nice action, it glides out very smoothly even over a very thick carpet. My only complaint would be that the drawer is very low compared to the height of the top desk. At the height you want to sit at the main part of the desk the sliding drawer is at the same height as your knees, still getting used to this.

Pros: High quality, sturdy and easy to assemble, very reasonably priced.

Cons: Sliding drawer too low.
