Habe mir als Ergänzung zu meinem Set in der Studio Ausführung das Floor Tom gleich mitbestellt. Die Farbe ist super, auch die Verarbeitung ist völlig in Ordnung. Vom Sound her: Dass die mitgelieferten REMO-UT Felle nicht den absoluten Hammersound erzeugen, dürfte jedem klar sein. Für´s Üben oder Bandproben tun sie es aber allemal. Ich habe ein zweilagiges coated aufgezogen und ein paar Wattebällchen rein- voila. Die Stimmschrauben laufen wie Butter. Hatte davor ein Maple Custom mit den Nouveau Böckchen, da musste man jede Umdrehung mit dem Stimmschlüssel machen.
Als Fazit würde ich sagen: Die Anschaffung hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt, es ist keine billige Chinaware ( meine anderen Yamaha Sets kamen aus Japan...). Einzig und allein die Umstellung der Standtombeine von Metalldorn auf Gummi ist etwas nervig. Aber normalerweise macht man so etwas nicht laufend.
