Great compact mixer
rayzer... 03.12.2020
Bought this as an upgrade from the Xenyx 502 as i needed an extra mic input, having a second set of outputs is also super handy for my setup too. I previously owned a Yamaha MG12/4 so i found this mixer simple to use and had it all setup really quick. Well happy with it.

Small mixer with big sound.
DarrenH 16.11.2015
I bought this Yamaha MG06 primarily to use for monitoring purposes for my drum set up when playing live. My monitor mix goes into the mixer along with click track from my Roland SPD-SX. I then go out to IEM'S via a hard wired Fischer belt pack. Does a great job and the features are amazing for such a small mixer.
It's well built, set out easily and feels like a good quality product.
Due to its size it's easily portable as well which is a big factor for me.
Yamaha make great products and I can't find fault with this so far, recommend.

Low quality

Channel imbalance on main outs and channels 3/4. Wobbly chassis, weak mic pres. The plastic bit around the power button rattles.

Great clear sound
Johnny Boy 2 10.04.2021
I use mine to switch between two stereo in puts to my monitors. It has a lovely clear sound and gives a good visualization of level and a point of level adjustment if needed. A quality little unit. I love the fact that it has a power switch too.
