I bought pair of those and use them as a Front Of House (FOH) speakers, sometimes with and sometimes without a sub. In small bars with 100 people I'll use only those two because they have enough bass for their size, and they can go very loud without clipping. So far I've never managed to make them clip or activate the protection. They run very cool even after a hard night, they are only slightly warm on touch at the back panel.
For larger venues, I'll add a sub and select the HPF on 100hz from the back panel. They sound very transparent and mild throughout the entire frequency range, without being unpleasantly piercing, even when you crank them up high.
They have 2 channel mixer at the back and many knobs and switches that'll help you shape their sound the way you like it. In addition, they weigh only 10kg, which makes them very easy to lift on the speaker stand.
Pros:
Lightweight only 10kg
129db
Very flat response and decent bass response on low to mid volumes.
Plenty of I/O
FIR-X Tuning grade DSP.
Cons:
Would have been even better if there was a side handle, at least on one of the sides. The plastic is a bit slippery, and lacks grip when lift them on speaker stands.
Resume:
Wonderfully tuned compact speaker that performs equally good on small or fairly large venues without any worries. It is slightly less powerful than the more expensive DXR10, put in a much lighter box, but both sound practically the same. Provides a lot of bang for your buck!
