The XVive U2 Guitar Wireless System provides an affordable and quality solution for guitarists and bassists who wish to be free of cables and go wireless, thus saving space, time, and nerves. Both the transmitter and the receiver are extremely compact, easily fitting into any pocket and 1/4” jack input. In true Plug-and-Play tradition, setting up the system is very straightforward. The XVive U2 Guitar Wireless System operates at 24bit/48kHz resolutions over the 2.4GHz ISM worldwide open band and is thus license-free. With a range of up to 30 meters and a battery life of five hours, it allows performances on stage to go unhindered. The present set includes two transmitters and one receiver.

Easy setup

The Y-USB cables provided allow the batteries of the transmitter and receiver to be simultaneously charged in about an hour and a half. Setting up the system is then very straightforward. Initially, a flashing blue LED indicates which of the four available channels is being used. Once the blue LED lights up continuously, this signifies that a connection has been established. If multiple U2s are used, the channels can be set accordingly. The U2 can be used to replace any 1/4” instrument cable, whether connecting to a pedalboard or an amplifier. The 24bit/48kHz AD conversion offers a great dynamic range and sound quality, perfectly capturing subtle nuances and overtones with an almost imperceptible latency of 6 milliseconds. Even playing with the volume pot and feels natural with the XVive U2 Guitar Wireless System.

Both affordable and easy to use, the XVive U2 Wireless System provides an ideal entry point into the world of wireless playing. Even on a small stage, being free of cables can really pay off, such as when indulging in a bit of audience mingling. Those wary of cumbersome wireless transmission systems, often awkward to mount and then play around, need not worry: they will find the compact U2 system a pleasure to use. The transmitter can be angled at 280° from the player, thus remaining out of the way at all times. Moreover, the XVive U2 Wireless System is not limited to live gigs. Many guitarists and bassists develop a taste for practicing, improvising and even writing cable-free! The present bundle, which features two separate transmitters, will particularly appeal to live guitarists wishing to switch guitars between songs without having to also swap out the transmitters.

About XVive Audio

Xvive Audio officially entered the market in 2012 with its compact U2 wireless guitar system. Since then, the company has also been involved in the development of wireless microphone technology. Its catalogue also includes effects pedals, such as the Signature Series, which were developed in partnership with guitarist Thomas Blug. The products are designed by an American team, based in Pasadena, California, which is composed of musicians and engineers and draws on decades of professional experience. Its lead designer, Howard Davies, was previously employed at Electro Harmonix and Pigtronix, among others. Xvive Audio's goal is to create products that deliver exceptional sound and build quality, while remaining affordable for any musician.

Handy and flexible

The XVive U2 Wireless System can be used to replace any 1/4” jack instrument cable. Both the transmitter and receiver can bend up to 280° and thus seamlessly adapt to any instrument, amplifier, interface or effects pedal. Even ST-style inputs on guitars pose no problem. Regular, as well as five and six-string basses will also greatly benefit from the wide frequency response, which extends down to 20Hz. Electro-acoustic guitars can also benefit from this system, although caution is advised when using unshielded preamp inputs, since interference can occasionally occur. Up to four instruments can simultaneously transmit via the XVive U2 Wireless System, allowing an extra guitar and bass if needed. Should a guitarist wish to swap out an instrument between songs, this bundle, which includes a second transmitter, is ideal – one need only deactivate the first transmitter and activate the second when changing instrument, without having to change transmitters.

...and the battery seems to last a long time. I was hoping that it would be one transmitter to multiple receivers, but this set up also works for me.

Habe schon den 2-er Pack und bin voll zufrieden. Keine Störungen (selbst bei z.B. Handy in der Nähe) und aktive Gitarren funktionieren auch. Bei mehreren Instrumenten auf einen Empfänger darf man eben nur einen Sender in Betrieb haben, also ungenutzten Sender ausschalten, aber mit dem kleinen Schalter kein Problem. Alles Gute ist halt nie beisammen, aber trotzdem volle Empfehlung bis zu 10-15 m.

Práctico en algún caso concreto

Compré este producto de 2 emisores y un receptor porque pensaba que podría conectarlos simultáneamente y salir ambos por un único amplificador, pero no es así. Sólo uno de los 2 emisores se empareja con el bluetooth del receptor. Cuando se prueba de enlazar el segundo, pierde la primera conexión.

Visto que la utilidad para la que lo compré no la da este producto, lo uso para tener siempre un emisor con la batería cargada y poder cambiarlo al momento que al que uso se le acaba la batería.

Por lo demás funcionan perfectamente, como otros modelos similares que tengo del mismo fabricante

Před několika dny jsem poridil tuto bezdrátovou soupravu. Objednal jsem si přijímač a dva vysílače. Moje očekávání byla sice nízká, ale byl jsem s tímto produktem naprosto ohromen. Žádné mohutne tělo, žádné objemné přijímače a antény, a všechno snadno zapadá do mého pouzdra na kytaru (nebo vaší kapsy, přijde na to). Měl jsem obavy z latence. Moje starosti byly zcela neopodstatněné. Nemyslím si, že dokážete detekovat jakoukoli latenci bez elektronického testovacího zařízení, a dokonce i tehdy je to zanedbatelné (výzkum). Doporučuji tento produkt. Mám podezření, že po včerejším použití při zkoušce kapely si ostatní členové kapely objednaje i oni. :) Je to prostě úžasná bezdrátová kytarová souprava. Žádné další kytarové kabely, o které můžete zakopnout a sledovat, jak se vaše kytara zhroutí ze stojanu. 5 stars!
