Warm Vocals

This is my first hardware compressor.. and I'm glad I decided on the Warm.
Using it mainly for vocals and even with very little compression applied I've noticed an incredible improvement in sound.
My ribbon microphone never sounded smoother or more warm. A welcome upgrade from any software compressor I've used.

i don't know what the original thing sounds like.. but i bypass the Manley core comp and use the wa-2a instead since i got it!

p.s. use it as an insert to spice things up ITB.

This compressor is great. You can get some smooth opto compression easily and if you want some tube distortion just trun the Pre-emphasis knob on the back. I do with that knob was on the front but it's still a great piece of gear. Just sounds good. Built solid. I like it!
