Love vandoren!

I've always played vandoren reeds as they make the best sound of any reed made, have the best responsiveness and most of all are always consistent: I know I can take a reed out its packet and it will immediately play just as i want it to. I would recommend these to any saxophone or clarinet players be it novice or professional!

Standard Clarinet Reeds

I purchased the Vandoren Classic Blue Clarinet Reeds in 3 for my french-system Buffet Bb-Clarinet.
I am a professional saxophone player and have to double a lot on flute and clarinet, so I was looking for a reed that gives me the perfect balance between a good sound, easy handling and a long lasting reed. This is what I've definitely found with this reed. It responses very well in every register and gives a full, warm sound.
Out of one box I could use 80% of the reeds, the others I could get to be playable by slightly put in hand with my Reedgeek.

I can totally recommend these reeds for every clarinetist out there who is looking for quality and consistency

Having previously used Rico 2 strength reeds for clarinet, these made a much welcome improvement, adding a lot more resistance but not so much so that they are difficult to play, so you are much able to make a variety of colours with your sound. Obviously your preferred reed strength will vary on your standard and from person to person, so it is always worth trying out a variety of reeds, but these are definitely one to try in your preferred strength.
