The semi-open cab for TWS heads

The TWS 1x12 Speaker Cab is a guitar cabinet specifically designed to be the perfect match for the TWS 2864-S Stealth amp head. Hand-built in Germany, this cab is loaded with a Celestion G12M Greenback, the classic 12" speaker that has been famous for its warm, punchy tones since the '60s, thanks in great part to its ceramic magnet. With its grille cloth and tolex covering in matching black, the cab's looks sit comfortably alongside the all-time greats, and because it's built with a semi-open back, it delivers a vibrant tone that almost sounds as if it were alive.

Birch baffle? Remarkably resonant!

The TWS 1x12 Cab runs at a standard 16  ohms and can handle up to 25W, making it the ideal match for the TWS 2864-S heads. Its big sound comes in large part from the unusual combination of materials used in its construction: While the cabinet itself is made from solid 18mm pine plywood for a stable, hard shell, the baffle is crafted from more resonant birch ply. This lets the whole cab act as a solid foundation, while the rear panels vibrate along with the speaker, giving extra support to the tone. And it's perfectly proportioned, too - significantly more compact than many competing cabinets.

Small cab - big sound

The TWS 1x12 Cab is a great choice for players who care about first-class sound and want a small stack for home use, or an easy-to-handle speaker solution for intimate gigs. Paired with the matching head, it forms a compact half-stack that could scarcely be easier to transport. Standing just over 40cm tall and under half a metre wide (about 15" by 20"), this little box of tricks weighs only 12kg, i.e. well under 30lbs. That means it doesn't need the recessed handles found on larger cabs, just a single carry handle is enough to lift it solo with ease. The handle and feet are designed so that a second 1x12 cab can be stacked on top, letting players build a portable, lightweight setup that still sounds big - full-stack style.
