Der Dämpfer hat einen schönen dunklen Sound, ist nie schrill oder schreiend. Die Intonation geht ziemlich nach oben. Heißt Stimmzug locker 2cm raus, was je nach Stück nicht so schlimm ist. Die Ansprache in extremen Lagen ist nicht gut. Pedal-B und hohes B (b1) sprechen recht schlecht an.
