Not great designwise Not great designwise

It has a quite pleasant sound once you get it in tune, if you do get it in tune. The strings break very easily, I would recommend to tune it one whole step down from what is written on it. If you tune it "right" you are dangerously close to the strings snapping. The tuning pegs also do not seem very stable, some are bent inwards from the string tension (or just not screwed in straight from the factory?)
Sadly I spent more time tuning this thing than actually playing it

Other than that the look and feel of the instrument is alright, and it wasn't terribly expensive. But all in all, I can not recommend this instrument.

Très bon instrument Very good instrument

Being in possession of a kalimba, I wanted to try my hand at this harpika, a small, recent and quite intriguing instrument. A very airy sound and a beautiful workmanship. 2 downsides: - the bass strings are very loose, and are therefore not precise in the note reproduced. - tuning is done to the quarter of a millimeter, or sometimes even by (unintentional) twisting of the tuning keys. This is particularly annoying on the aforementioned bass strings. Other than that, this instrument is very nice!
