I bought this as a last-minute addition to my cymbal lineup as I wanted a bigger, louder China cymbal before a gig. I had tried Millenium cymbals before, which is the drum brand owned by Thomann, so thought this might be worth a try. I have to say this is a great budget cymbal, and you get a lot of bang for your buck here.
Pros:
-Affordable b20 cymbal
-Loud and trashy: would fit a rock, punk or metal context very well
-Looks great, not like a cheap cymbal at all
Cons:
-The sound decays very fast, which personally isn't to my taste
I've been using this cymbal for a gig and a couple of practices now, and I have to say it's holding up pretty well. It easily gathers stick marks, and as a cheap cymbal I'm expecting it to start to break soon, but because of the incredible value when it breaks I can afford to just order a new one.
I recommend this cymbal to beginner or intermediate drummers hoping to open up their possibilities on the drums a bit. It beats every other cheap cymbal brand easily, but might not be the best for professionals due to the cymbal's fast decay.
