Sounds great, but take care

I have been using these microphones for literally everything for years now. Mainly drum overheads and vocals, but also to record acoustic and electronic guitars, bass, you name it. It always does the job perfectly. Really low noise, really great sound quality. But you should treat them like eggs because they don't tolerate any physical harm. You knock one over and if you're unlucky, it's dead. And if you can, avoid the stage smoke + high sound pressure combo because you might end up with a capsule that's always wet. This might be true for many other microphones though. And they really sound the same, so they are excellent for overheads. Overall, these microphones were the best budget choice of my life, I wouldn't exchange them for anything in this price range, my next option is the Neumann U87 stereo set, nothing in between.

Drum Overheads

I bought these a while ago and have spent a good time dialling in with these to get a really good sound. I mostly use them as drum overheads and can get a really overall good kit sound. I've also used them for a choir and ambiently for a few jam sessions with great results. These wont break your bank balance but provide you with a good quality sound for your studio or band. The carry case is also a good tough box for storage or when your taking them between locations. the mounting brackets are really good too.

STOP RIGHT HERE AND BUY IT

I will say one thing "WOW".
I was not expecting such excellent sound and quality form these microphones. I work in a radio environment where we use top end Neumann and Audio Technica microphones. And I can tell you this, the sound quality with the SC450 is as good as any of those mics, they're only little bit less sensitive and more direct.
The T.bone SC 450. My god, they are just a wonderful pair and yet so much cheaper. For a diaphragm microphones, they have a pretty low Noise floor and a rather warm and sweet sound. You do have to push them with a little bit more gain to achieve the compromised sound and they indeed sound amazing.
If you're looking for a top class sounding Mics for any type of recording environment, THIS is your choice and you wont be disappointed.

What a fantastic set of microphones, fantastic sound when used as drum overheads, and beautiful tone on vocals. I have used this as one of my go to vocal mics in the studio for both male and female vocals. The case is excellent and really does keep the mics safe and secure. The t.bone mics don't get enough credit, you get a lot of mic for the mone.
