GREAT PRODUCT IN THIS PRICE RANGE!!
Pawel K. 22.04.2016
I bought few of these panels few weeks ago and used them to sound proof my vocal/guitar boot and mixing room.
I got rid of bouncing sound and feedback.
Also found out that the tone coming out of my monitors is much more precise and clear.
For me there is no cons.
This product works great and does its job.
I'm just about to order few more for my main studio room.
It can easily stand next to some similar absorbers from much more expensive price range.
I recommend it for everyone who would like to save some $£ and still get good results.

the t.akustik SA-P80?

For a 1metre Sq of Acoustic Foam of this quality this is great value. Easily mounted and with careful positioning it will definitely work. It has the perfect depth in the pyramid matrix design and the charcoal grey colour is nice and neutral and will blend in with any colour scheme. With Acoustic Treatment at this price and quality there is no real excuse not to have your studio sounding good. It would be nice to see it packaged better though than simply rolled up and just taped together in a roll. It deserves better packaging to make it look more professional when you buy it and for company's own reputation too.

Pros: good size and thickness, nice colour, easy to mount, good effectiveness.

Cons: - if you already have the "t.akustik HiLo-P80" absortion panel be careful because the colour its slightly in a different tone but nothing special (should not be a problem),
- a bit smelly 👀

If you need quick acoustic patches in your home studio without thinning your wallet too much, this is the thing for you.

I bought myself a few of these for my bedroom, stick some on the wall and hang some on dedicated, cheap mic stands. The sound is significantly better than before.

I couldn't find any foam, that would be cheaper than this for such a big surface, yet still quality enough. Though, if you are building a real studio, you might consider spending a little extra on the foam, as this doesn't even have it's own packaging, and might just come a little damaged. It won't affect the sound protection, but won't look as pretty.
