Cons:
Not aesthetically high end but you can live with it.
For those complaining about low frequencies and soundproofing, get your act together - This is not a bass trap and you won't be able to soundproof a room simply by slapping stuff on the walls.

DO
Great For home studios

Not for sound proofing!
So i bought 2 sheets of this to make a microphone shield and some other stuff. I ended up having a spare sheet so i put it up on the wall which looks great and is quite useful.
Before i built the mic shield i put my amp into a box and padded up the inside of the box with the foam and tracked some guitar. It work well stopping reflections and minimizing outside noise.
I also tracked some vocals with a sheet up on the wall and the mic in front on the foam, which also work extremely well to my ears with no audible reflections.
I then tested the frequency response of my vocal microphone without any foam in the room and then the foam in front of the the microphone.
My results were almost identical form 0hz to 15khz.
This foam is mostly useful for targeting to those higher frequencies. If your looking for something to kill room modes or sound proofing, look else where.
If you are looking for something to use in an isolation box or a cool decoration or to dampen reflections this is a good starting point.

Surprisingly efficient damping!

Honestly I didn't expect much, but they were cheap and I figured they at least wouldn't make the acoustic properties of my smallish home studio any worse. In parallel with purchasing these panels, I built myself a couple of large corner basstraps using heavy rockwool, and I did quite a bit of testing to find the best placement on walls and ceiling. Combined the acoustic treatment of my studio has done wonders, and the previous nasty echoes are gone. We now use the studio for band rehearsals, recording and mixing, and the sound is a lot more balanced than it used to be. Even drum recordings sound sound pretty darn good!
One warning: They are somewhat delicate and will rip when abused!
