Excellent Microphones

Sound quality is brilliant after playing around a bit with mixer settings. Used for karaoke but would say that they would be great for live music gigs. You can just feel the quality. Easily set up and simple to use......

Didn't imagine I will use them regularly...
The Latin Ensemble 23.09.2024
I did this purchase because sometimes there are events where I feel afraid of someone who ask "for a microphone" to say something, could make a damage to my wireless Shure Beta58A, for what I have paid almost 1000€. After reviewing this double set decided to buy it in order to have a spare pair of microphones ready on the events such weddings, birthdays and corporate. First one of them did not work, so I contacted Thomann and in a turnaround time of 4-5 days they did the return and send me a new package. Since more than a year, they passed from being the spare mics to be my regular gigs microphones, one for me, and one for the female singer who works with me. The sound is clear and nice, and I feel comfortable my voice with them!
When I am the only singer, always have the other as spare or if someone wants it.
After more than a year of use, only one occasion they did not work correctly, the place maybe had a lot of frequencies that affected both, and because I had no time to fix the problem simply changing the frequency, I just used the Mackie's EM-89D wired and finished the gig. Then quietly at home studied how to set and change frequencies, which is easy but ata that moment during a show the stress play the worst role.
If I can say something that could improve, is the switch, when you turn on or off there is a nasty pop that goes to the speakers, besides that there is no complaint, since their sound is very nice compared to a Shure SM58. Another thing is so far one of them lose the tiny Allen screw that holds the grille, and the rubber that protects that is frequently around because tends to drop from the grille as well.
The real challenge was almost a year ago when we were just doing sound to my cousin' brass band, at the famous "Autobello Expo" with a crowd of approximately 1500 people... My cousin invited me to sing one song that they were about to improvise, and I accepted but what I only had a the moment was the t.bones system on the gear box. I did and even make a video that is on YouTube (Sonumwave channel) showing the magnificent of these microphones. I just want to endorse and recommend them because you get a lot of quality of sound for a very good price without killing your pocket.
