C
Good beater for silent purposes.
Carlos781 14.01.2015
I bought these beater more for practising at home, since I am living in an apartment, which means there are noise issues. The beater brings a considerable reduction in the noise and allows for a good rebound feeling when hitting the bass pad. I could have the feeling of playing with a beater that originally comes with the pedals, just some times with more rebound. However, if using this beater in a double pedal should be taken into consideration the size of the pad, or might have the risk of the hits not being felt by the triggers. This can be a good solution to be taken into consideration for those living in apartments and might have noise issues.

B
Very good for rock/metal drumming
Belzebut 09.07.2019
I bought this beater to play with less noise on my drum set. I think the product is aimed at mesh head kick pads, in order to decrease the damage done to the mesh, but this beater did the trick for me. The reverb from the kick drum has increased, the speed of drumming has increased and the overall noise coming from the kick pad is less.

O
too much rebound
Oresbius 24.07.2019
It does what I expected but too much. I used it for my ddrum set with mesh head and it didn't worked for me. You are getting too much rebound from the tennis ball and in faster or stronger playing an unwanted tremble happens. Maybe works better in large low tuned real kick, but this is not what I do.

Great

Looks like well basically just a tennis ball on a metal stick :)
Great quality tho

I use it for replacing my Millenium MPS-850 E-Drum Set stock drum beater to make it less noisier

pros:
+ works good
+ decreases noise level
+ doesn't really decrease bounce as much as you could expect (softens them a little bit)
+ good quality
+ easy to install

cons:
- looks funny, oh wait, that's also a pro :)
- doesn't make bass drum completely quiet

In general great beater. I recommend it for buying if you want to make you e-drum set to be a little bit quieter and to last longer
