M
Stork Heavy 1 Bass Trombone (Posaune) Mouthpiece
Martin661 07.08.2013
Beautifully made from, as the name suggests, a very heavy blank. The cup profile is more tapered than most and to my ears gives a smoother sound and more consistent tone from low F to low Bb especially when both valves are in use. Suits my Strad 50 well, but a colleague with an Edwards has gone back to his old 'piece, so I recommend trying before buying (if you can find one!). A very big mouthpiece, not for the faint hearted or weak of embouchure. Only negative was the long lead time - but I know Thomann have little control over that when not a stock item.
