Technical Data:
The Stairville Tour Stage Platform 2x1m ODW, which is suitable for outdoor use, is a classic in the field of stage construction. This platform is part of the Tour Stage series developed by Thomann's in-house brand Stairville and is compatible with all stage construction elements in the series. It rests on comparatively large 60x60mm feet, which can be purchased in different heights. The material used is relatively light and yet extremely resilient, and the platform is certified by the TÜV. The difference between the Stairville Tour Stage Platform 2x1m CPTW and the Platform 2x1m ODW shown here is that the latter comes with a non-slip coating.
The Stairville Tour Stage Platform 2x1m ODW can be used at open-air events or in indoor areas, either individually or as part of a larger stage. The surface is made of a weatherproof wooden board with an anti-slip plastic coating made by Hexa. With dimensions of 200x100x9cm (LxWxH), the platform is within the average size range for common stage elements. The maximum load capacity is 750kg per m², and a single platform weighs 33kg. Under each of the four corners there is a special foot connection joint measuring 60x60mm, for which a wide range of matching feet are available in the Tour Stage range. Fixed heights are available starting at 20cm and retractable feet can be extended to up to 140cm in height, while castors can be added for increased flexibility. To prevent multiple platforms from sliding apart, they can be secured together using clamps.
The Stairville Tour Stage Platform 2x1 m ODW is suitable for outdoor events or events where dampness and general wet conditions are required to create the necessary scenic effect. Outdoor performances - from speeches and theatre evenings through to open-air concerts - can all take place on this weatherproof platform. The Stage Platform can be equipped with a practical railing on the platform frame, which should also please event planners and can provide secure support at the back of the stage, e.g. when lighting conditions are not ideal. Rental companies also get a platform that they can use for both outdoor applications and indoor events.
Since it was introduced in 1994, Thomann’s in-house brand Stairville has been a permanent fixture in the store’s product range. The brand primarily focuses on the field of stage lighting in general, and its products include spotlights, moving lights, and theatre lighting as well as smoke machines, electronic control systems, and every other accessory you can think of. Thomann constantly has around 1,600 Stairville products on offer, and the figures speak for themselves: Statistically, one in every fifteen Thomann customers owns at least one Stairville product. Incidentally, the name “Stairville” is also a catchy English translation of “Treppendorf”, the town that Thomann calls home.
Anyone who wants speakers and DJs to be highly visible at their birthday party can build a riser themselves in just a few simple steps. In this way, the performers are slightly elevated and thus shown in their best light. All you need are two Stairville Tour Stage Platfom 2x1m ODW units, eight feet, and two connectors. First, lay the boards with the top side facing downwards, then screw on the short (e.g. 20cm) feet. Next, place the stage platforms upright and secure them together to prevent them from slipping apart. If the ground is uneven, extendable legs are recommended, which can be readjusted with the help of a spirit level. This allows you to build your own riser in no time.
