Real SSL product

There are many similar products that are licensed to use SSL brand name. This essentials set is original SSL. Very natural and cleansound if you compare to any licensed product. I like to use these plugins instead of the ones included in any DAW software that I use. I highly recommend to have at least a test drive (demo is available from manufacturers web site). Learn to use these and You'll get superior professional sounding mixes :-)

Schnell zum Ergebnis mit SSL (plus Details zur Apple/Logic Einbindung)

Jeder Regler in beiden Plugins macht Sinn, alles ist perfekt aufeinaner abgestimmt, die Bedienung ist intuitiv - und klanglich sind die SSL Native Plugins ein echtes upgrade zu den schon guten Logic stock Plugins.
Beide Plugins laufen sowohl unter High Sierra 10.13.6 / Logic 10.4.8 auf Intel Mac als auch auf Monterey 12.3.1 / Logic 10.4.8 (funktioniert noch bzw. wieder auf Monterey) auf M1Pro unter Rosetta 2, jeweils smooth und mit wenig CPU last. Unter Monterey / M1Pro und Logic 10.7.3 laufen sie auch, es fehlt aber leider in beiden Plugins die Möglichkeit eine externe Source für die compressor side chain zu wählen - ich habe einen Logic bug report bei Apple eröffnet da dies eine Funktionalität des jeweiligen DAW window frames für die Plugins ist.
Klanglich bewegt sich sowohl der channel strip als auch der bus compressor (dieser besonders mit 4-fach oversampling) auf höchstem Niveau: Starke compression ohne merkliche Änderung des Klangcharakters ist sowohl mit dem channel strip als auch dem bus compressor möglich! Der EQ im channel strip wirkt Punktgenau ohne grosses Übersprechen in andere Freqenzbereiche. Einen Punkt Abzug bei Bedienung für das supernervige iLok licensing...

Tremendos respecto al control y capacidades para manipular el sonido. Considero que fueron dos buenas adquisiciones ya que casi todo lo que hace SSL (sea oficial o de otra página) suele ser sinónimo de calidad. Diría que estas dos piezas son las más transparentes en cuanto a que no modifican excesivamente la señal o añaden nada que no quieras. Perfecto para quien quiera tanto calidad como capacidad de procesamiento, ya que no tiran mucho de CPU.
