Although it is actually intended for children, I bought it to learn and play children's songs with my mum in the old people's home. It's perfect for this because the colour coding makes it easy to identify the notes. But I'm particularly impressed by the sound quality, because it sounds really good! The notes are clear, without clanking, well tuned and pleasant. I was really pleasantly surprised. The sound box is made of plastic and not wood, but I don't think that's a major drawback. This anniversary edition is the same as the normal Sonor BWG glockenspiel, just with thicker mallets, which is nice, but this means they no longer fit into the holders on the soundbox. All in all though, I would highly recommend to purchase this.

So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt: Die mitgelieferten Schläger (aus derselben Packung genommen!) passen gar nicht in die dafür vorgesehenen Löcher. In der Anleitung unter "Lieferumfang" ist sogar abgebildet, wie man die Schläger in die Löcher schieben soll. Nur: In der Praxis passen die einfach nicht rein. Die werden auch irgendwann abbrechen (Hebelwirkung) @Thomann, wieso verkauft Ihr sowas, sogar unter Eurem Namen?

Un jouet aux notes justes

Je n'ai jamais joué de xylophone mais j'en cherchais un pour habituer l'oreille d'un enfant à la gamme de Do majeur. Un premier essai acheté à bas prix ailleurs s'est avéré faux ; je l'ai démonté pour n'abîmer aucune jeune oreille. Celui-ci en revanche est juste. Il a aussi l'avantage d'avoir deux lames supplémentaires, Sib et Fa#, en version 70th anniversary. J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'attention.
En revanche, les baguettes fournies n'entrent pas dans les trous prévus dans le support pour les ranger (leur tige est trop épaisse). Et puis j'ai été déçue que le support soit en plastique et non en bois.
Le prix, bien que promotionnel, ne me semble pas justifié au regard de l'objet.
