My favourite guitar

I've had a lot of guitars over the years, and from the second I picked this up it became my favourite. Incredible specs for the price, and very well built. Needed some minor setup and a drop of lemon oil on the fretboard, but after that it plays beautifully. Highly recommend.

I had wanted to test a Solar guitar for a while. Aesthetically, I find them very appealing (the headstock is simply beautiful), so I've been researching on this site to see what was in stock, and my initial choice was going to be the S2.6C G2. Since it wasn't available, my attention turned to this one. I liked the idea of it being a super simple guitar, with just one pickup, a true heavy metal machine. After a month in my hands, I can say that I'm very satisfied with my choice and pleasantly surprised with the brand. First of all, the guitar is incredibly lightweight. My usual guitar is a Gibson Les Paul, so this one feels like a sheet of paper in comparison when it comes to weight. The build quality is very good and I can't find any flaws in the finishings. The frets are perfect and the factory setup came very well done: action and intonation in perfect condition. The pickups were also a pleasant surprise, good gain but not excessive. The only 'issue' I can point out is that now I feel the urge to buy another one immediately.
