This was my second Alea rack from Sessiondesk. First one I bought three years ago. Older Alea assembly was ok and the product quality was acceptable overall. This latest Alea had some issues though.
Drillings were in wrong places on rack sides so I needed to fix them by drilling the holes in right places. Also somebody in the factory had screw the plastic guides to wrong places, detached the guides but put the rack side still on to package. Result was that sliding back cover didn't work until fixed.

Summary - good and steady rack but quality has suffered compared to older Alea rack.

Assembled perfectly with no issues. I was a bit worried reading about some mistakes in manufacturing by previous reviewers here. The design and texture of the wood and machined patterns on the back is classy and really well made. Also surprised me that it arrived in a wooden box inside the package. The assembly instructions were not included in the box but the PDF is easy to find on the Sessiondesk website. Also saves the sheet of paper.

Versatile as it has 2 configurations

I use it facing UP and holding my SPL NEOS and my converters.

Good quality, good wheels and the front (to my configuration looking up) panel is detachable so you can get into the box and change cabling and such. It's not cheap quality - seems lik it will last.
