Great professional wireless

I bought this wireless to use it with my saxophone ,i am an experienced player on live gigs and i have experience with other wireless systems like Akg , Shure or Line 6 and i am going to tell you , this wireless system is the best for its price and better than other systems at higher price ,it has an amazing natural very professional sound (like what you expect from sennheiser) and it has extremly good distance , battery life is resonable and build quality is superb especially the reciever . It is very easy to use and it has all the functions that a professional system would have . I am super happy with it and i will recommend to all my musician friends .

I was expecting more

I bought it for live gigs so i can pair it with Rumberger K1x2 pickup for saxophone. I must say I was disappointed . The signal strength is way to low for that Rumberger. To get decent signal, you have to put a LOT of gain on the mixer and transmitter as well. (+40dB on mixer and 0dB on transmitter) at which point there is lots and lots of floor noise. I sold it immediately and bought EW100 G4 here on Thomann which is way better, signal is four times stronger than this XSW 2, (on ew100 is only +10dB on mixer and-9dB on transmitter, and very little ,almost no floor nosie). Sound is good, and on other instruments it works great, but for saxophone and rumberger pickup you must look elsewere.

Great wireless system

I used it in all of my gigs, on both big stages and club stages, and it does its job very well. It doesn't interfere with other wireless systems on the stage.

Does the job, but I'm really not a fan of the large, plastic bodypacks. I guess this is why they are cheaper than the more professional EW-D series and EW-DX series.
