Mit der ersten Lieferung hatte ich etwas Pech, dass die Mechanik bei der rechten Hand immer wieder hängen geblieben ist. Das Austauschmodell lässt sich leichter zusammenbauen und die Mechanik ist leichtgängig. Die Ansprache finde ich als Autodidaktin auf der Klarinette hervorragend. Der Ton ist im tiefen Register voll und warm.
Die Klarinette hat für den Trichter farbige Gummiringe zum austauschen. Ich finde das eine schöne Idee, dass ich Farbe ins Spiel bringen kann. Alles in allem halte ich die Selmer Prologue für ein gutes Instrument, welches mir auf meinem Hobby Niveau sicherlich die nächsten Jahre grosse Freude bereiten wird.
