I'm not a bongo player but I couldn't resist these. The price is good, the look is good and most importantly, the sound is good. Obviously they are non-tunable! The sound is taut and clearly differentiated. Nice high pitch. There's a good response from the various regions of the head whether you use finger tip or a full slap. Not having the tuners and metal rims means the unskilled among us don't end up with aching palms where we've got a bit carried away. They fit nicely onto a stand or between the knees. I considered the WBS200 set which are not joined together, but have a velcro strip which you can use to join them to each other. Really I can't see the point as these ones fit between the knees either way - and my legs aren't that long! If you have other bits of schlagwerk percussion, they make a worthy addition. If you want to take them out to the park, they're easy and very light to carry, with plenty of volume.

Great Wooden Bongos
Paman 21.08.2018
Nice sound. Sturdy. Better than all the Wooden Bongos I've tried. I've used it for gigs, and it does have a powerful sound that carries throughout. I like them better than the skin bongos. No worries as per the head breaking. So far, so good. Nice, low price. I recommend these highly.

Awesome high pitched sound
HappyGilmore 11.11.2018
For me any, I love the sound and feel. Also I prefer solid heads as my hands sweat and regular bongos and congas heads get damp and go out of tune
Unfortunately there was an error. Please try again later.

Excelent produit
Erwan H. 07.05.2015
