Enzo, my 11 year old son got the James Morisson trumpet after playing in his middle school band for a year and we knew he would practice and stick with brass. In Enzo's words, "It plays so easy and smooth, it is fantastic. I love the way I can express myself through it, and how effortless I can shape the notes!"
Shortly after switching to the James Morrison Schagerl model, Enzo got accepted to the Detroit Symphony Youth Jazz Program. He receives a lot of compliments from seasoned jazz professionals on the sound, asking: "What trumpet is this, I just love the sound".
As a musical parent, the quality and workmanship is evident.
Being able to provide a young musician with an instrument that enables his creativity is invaluable. It gave him confidence, and he even started his own youtube to share his music. Which in the end leads to more passion and practice.
Now, he is looking for a Flugelhorn, and of course, he wants to stay with the Schagerl family, so he is dreaming of the Killer King.
