j
The most buttery, pleasing china that will still cut through dense mixes

This is THE China to get from Sabian, in my opinion.
Not abrasive at all, warm, feels buttery to play in, just superbly well balanced. Maybe paired with an AAX Xtreme or Holy China for options if you require something more cutting, but this is a choice of hard rock drummers and prog metal drummers alike.

Sabian Paragon China 19"
Robert814 14.10.2013
This is unique for a larger China cymbal in so far that it has a much more "Oriental" sound, rather than the more common "Rock China Crash" sound. It sounds good played hard or gently. I expected to use it upside down, in the typical drum kit style, but discovered that it has an interesting ride sound, when played "Right way up". 19" is large enough for a ride! This is precisely the kind of China that I was looking and hoping for. I'll be experimenting with it both ways for quite some time.

En utmärkt "all-around"-china enligt mig.
AgaTrummorna 17.06.2020
