I can't say enough good things about this cymbal as well as the whole evolution series.

I use this cymbal as my right hand crash, where I do a lot of wash riding and it sounds incredible. Cuts nicely through the mix without being too harsh and can completely release beautiful sounds even when hit gently.

I don't use it for that purpose all too much but it also rides quite nicely and has an interesting bell.

It's pricey but for such a quality of cymbal, it's 100% worth it.

Das Becken mit leicht dunklerem Ton ist ein dünnes bis mittel dickes Becken, das schnell und auch bei weniger starken Schlägen seinen unaufdringlichen Charakter entfaltet und mit einem angenehmen Sustain nicht all zu lange ausklingt. In kleineren Räumlichkeiten würde ich eher das 17" und 18" empfehlen aber in größeren Locations darf es bei mir definitiv nicht fehlen.

Also die HHX evolution Crashes sind einfach extrem gute und vielseitige Becken. Sie sind top gearbeitet umd klanglich in der obersten Liga unterwegs.
Ich hatte sehr lange ein 18er im Einsatz. Aber nach Jahren des Metal-Spielens ist es irgemdwann doch zu Bruch gegangen. Deshalb jetzt das etwas mächtigere 19er.
Das ist noch gut kontrollierbar, beim 20er hab ich etwas Angst, dass es zu viel macht.
