These will likely be the only Bass strings I use from now on.

I read on a forum that these are the strings Cliff Burton used and so I got them. My plans for them involved fast finger playing and bends... They aced every test I could throw at them after I shoved them on a bass. Nice cleans, Absolutely Stellar with distortion and Wah, They sound nice and bright with a pick too. Honestly, try them, they're mental.

I had Elites on a PB kit bass and while they weren't bad, they seemed a bit lacking in tone.

I used to use Rotosound but hadn't found them here in Brussels.

I bought these after buying a Jazz pickup for the bridge - making a 'PJ' bass. I had changed the bridge for a heavy one as well and was surprised that the various changes hadn't offered a better result.

The change to the 66's was the killer. Suddenly, all the other changes came into effect too and I had a very different bass in my hands.

I can't recommend Rotosound Bass strings enough - though they might not be to everyone's taste. That said, it would still be worth trying them first!

On sound, I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Unlike funkmaster, those one give more subtle feeling, and it's easier to thumb and pop.
