Strong and lightweight

My son needed this case as he has started touring internationally with his cello. The case is barely any heavier than his old padded case and the wheels make moving around even easier. With space for two bows and a small storage compartment on the inside, along with a pocket for music etc on the outside the case is extremely practical.

I'm a tiny bit worried that the zip gets caught on the strap at times and this could potentially damage the zip - but no problems so far

Entirely suitable in every way !!

This Cello case by Roth & Junius is excellent value for money . The important measurements are quite accurate . This case will stand upright ( vertically ) whilst holding the instrument when necessary , however that would not be recommended outside in the wind etc. I haven't used the wheels but they could be useful when your arms get tired of carrying it. The only issue was that it was necessary to remove a little stuffing from the little cushion where the bottom rear of the neck sits because that prevented the instrument from lying inside the case properly - maybe not an issue with a different make of instrument . The case seems strong and stiff enough to protect it very well from quite hard knocks although you would need to spend a lot more for total protection . I thoroughly recommend this Cello case !!!
