Das FC-300 deckt sämtliche Bereiche auf dem Gebiet MIDI-Steuerung ab (werde jetzt nicht ins Detail gehen, dafür gibt´s die Produktbeschreibung). Das Gehäuse, die Taster und die Pedale sind sehr stabil gebaut und haben außer ein paar Kratzern noch keinen Schaden genommen. Alle Steckerbuchsen (MIDI wie Klinke) sind gut leichtgänging, halten den Stecker aber fest genug. Allerdings ist die Bedienungsanleitung teilweise sehr schwer zu verstehen und wird für MIDI-Neulinge (wie ich damals) eine Herausvorderung darstellen...die aber zu meistern ist ;)

Im Vergleich zum Behringer FCB1010 etwa doppelt so teuer und deutlich schwerer, aber dafür um Welten besser und damit preiswerter. Das betrifft sowohl die MIDI Möglichkeiten als auch die Qualität der Hardware. Insbesondere die beiden Pedale sind ausgesprochen stabil und vermitteln ein gutes Bediengefühl.
Obwohl hauptsächlich an Keyboarder gerichtet, ist es für den anspruchsvollen Gitarristen ebenso geeignet, ja sogar besser als die klassischen Gitarrenboards und gemessen an den Features sogar relativ günstig. Die Leichtigkeit mit der man zwischen verschiedenen Betriebsarten wechseln und somit völlig unterschiedliche Sachen machen kann, ist beeindruckend.

Die Kombi macht´s ...

Meine Begeisterung über den VG-99 habe ich ja schon kundgetan und da darf natürlich das "Brett" nicht fehlen. Alles gelungen, einfach zu bedienen, das Display ist auch auf dunkler Bühne prima ablesbar, Gehäuse ist aus Metall, im Prinzip alles ok. Es kann bei größeren Füßen passieren dass man beim Bedienen des inneren Pedals versehentlich auf Köpfe tritt die in unmittelbarer Nähe liegen, aber wenn man ein bissel aufpasst geht´s schon.

Mehr als ich brauche

Eigentlich wolllte ich das FC200 für mein GT-Pro haben. Das gibt es aber leider nicht mehr, deshalb mußte ich den Nachfolger FC300 nehmen.
Das Gerät ist leider teurer und hat Featuure die ich mit dem GT-Pro nicht nutzen kann. Und die GT-Pro Software kennt das FC300 nicht. Das ganze geht zwar irgendwie doch zusammen und läuft auch bei mir, aber befriedigent ist die Kombi nicht.
