Ich muss gestehen: ich bin eigentlich sehr enttäuscht von diesem Produkt. Ich habe es primär gekauft, um mein Darkglass Microtubes Infinity damit fernzusteuern. Und prinzipiell geht das auch AAAABER:
Der Footswitch hat einen 7-pol MIDI Out (schon einmal etwas nervig, dass sie den verwenden, aber okay). Es liegt auch ein 7-pol Kabel bei, das geht ja zur Verwendung mit den Darkglass-Amps, ist okay. Es lieg auch ein Adapter von 7-pol auf 5-pol bei, soweit eh gut, ABER ich hätte gedacht, dass es ein 7-pol (male) auf 5-pol (male oder female) ist, aber nein! Es ist von 7-pol (female) auf 5-pol (male)! Der Microtubs Infinity hat einen MIDI B (3,5mm), weder bei dem Switch, noch beim Pedal ist ein 5-pol auf 3,5mm Kabel dabei. Prinzipiell okay, aber damit ich den Switcher mit dem Microtubes verwenden kann, benötige ich also so ein 5pol-auf-3,5mm-Kabel UND eine 5-pol-Kupplung! Noch dazu muss ich ja das 7-Pol-Kabel dazwischen hängen, das hat aber 6-Meter, also auf dem selben Pedalboard nicht verwendbar. Ich habe im Internet nirgends ein Kabel gefunden, das von 7-Pol auf MIDI B geht (mit der richtigen Kanalbelegung), ich habe es mir dann selber gelötet, musste die Teile aber sogar wo anders bestellen, habe bei Thomann keine 7-Pol-Din-Stecker gefunden. Und das verstehe ich nicht von Darkglass: sie machen Werbung, dass man den Midi-Footswitch mit dem Microtubs Infinity verwenden kann, aber bieten nicht einmal selbst ein Verbindungskabel an (sie könnten ja einen hohen Aufpreis verlangen, ich hätte vermutlich einiges gezahlt für eine sichere Lösung!)
Noch dazu kann man mit dem Footswicht nur zwischen den Presets, Tuner und Bypass hin und her schalten, ein bisschen mehr Optionen wäre schon nett gewesen. Es ist aber die einzige Möglichkeit, Presets D, E und F im Live-Betrieb anzusprechen. Jedoch kann man die Presets nicht ohne PC speichern, da der Footswitch keine "Hold" Funktion oder ähnliches hat. Wenn man Presets A, B oder C mit dem Microtubes anwählt, checkt das der Footswitch auch nicht und es leuchtet die vorher gewählte LED weiter. Ich habe das Datum für die Retoure leider übersehen und behalte ihn jetzt auch (jetzt hab ich das Kabel ja schon extra gelötet), aber Kaufempfehlung gibt es (zumindest in Kombination mit dem Microtubes Infinity) ganz klar KEINE!
Die Verarbeitung ist super, da kann man nix sagen, aber im Allgemeinen muss ich sagen: Das war wohl eher nix, Darkglass, das könnt ihr sicher besser!

I have to admit: I'm actually very disappointed with this product. I bought it primarily to use it to remote control my Darkglass Microtubes Infinity. And in principle that works BUT: The footswitch has a 7-pin MIDI out (it's a bit annoying that they use that, but okay). There's also a 7-pin cable included, which can be used with the Darkglass amps, which is okay. There's also an adapter from 7-pin to 5-pin included, which is fine, BUT I would have thought it would be a 7-pin (male) to 5-pin (male or female), but no! It's 7-pin (female) to 5-pin (male)! The Microtubs Infinity has a MIDI B (3.5mm), neither the switch nor the pedal come with a 5-pin to 3.5mm cable. In principle it's OK, but in order to use the switcher with the Microtubes I need a 5-pin to 3.5mm cable AND a 5-pin connector! I also need to hang the 7-pin cable in between, but that's 6 meters long, so it can't be used on the same pedal board. I couldn't find a cable anywhere on the internet that goes from 7-pin to MIDI B (with the correct channel assignment), so I soldered it myself, but had to order the parts from somewhere else, I couldn't find any 7-pin DIN plugs at Thomann. And that's what I don't understand about Darkglass: they advertise that you can use the MIDI footswitch with the Microtubs Infinity, but don't even offer a connection cable themselves (they could charge a lot more, I would probably have paid a lot for a secure solution!) On top of that, you can only switch back and forth between the presets, tuner and bypass with the footswitch, a few more options would have been nice. But it is the only way to access presets D, E and F in live mode. However, you cannot save the presets without a PC, as the footswitch has no "hold" function or anything similar. If you select presets A, B or C with the Microtubes, the footswitch doesn't check this either and the previously selected LED continues to light up. Unfortunately, I missed the return date and am keeping it now (I've already soldered the cable separately), but there is clearly NO recommendation to buy it (at least in combination with the Microtubes Infinity)! The workmanship is great, there's nothing to complain about, but in general I have to say: That was probably nothing, Darkglass, you can definitely do better!

Ich wollte einen Footswitch haben, mit dem ich zum einen die Distortion eines Bass-Topteils steuern und zum anderen meine Patches bei MainStage 3 durchswitchen kann. Da ich mir in Zukunft ein neues Topteil von Darkglass zulegen will ist die Entscheidung recht leicht gefallen und für zweitere Anwendung wurde ich nicht enttäuscht. Das Midi-Setup ist sehr einfach und die Verarbeitung ist wie von Darkglass gewohnt einfach ein Traum. Besonders die Verpackung ist auch zu erwähnen - sieht man sonst so nur von Apple. Er ist schön schwer, bleibt also bei gestressteren Umschalt-Manövern an seinem Platz.
Alles in Allem wunderbar :)

If you have Darkglass e500 amplifier, then it’s a must.
The only drawback is the necessity to use also USB-C cable in order to get the amplifier presets (when changed in app) synced with pedal, but once done, it’s not needed anymore, i.e. for gig.
Appreciate the long MIDI cabel (included) and no need to use external power, when connected to e500.
For the very first initial setup, PC or MAC is necessary, it can’t be done via phone app. But it’s needed just once.
