besser neuen Satz kaufen, aber diese Saiten sind wirklich prima !

ok, ich hatte auch mal diese 6-Saiter Phase und natürlich reißt eine C-Saite auch ganz schnell ...
Statt einen neuen Satz zu kaufen, habe ich mal spasseshalber eine einzelne C-Saite gekauft und die gerissene ersetzt.
Mein Tipp: lasst es, kauft einen neuen Satz !
Aaaaber nicht, weil die Pyramid Einzelsaite oder die Pyramid-Saiten alle nichts taugen, nein, denn das tun sie sehr wohl.
Mein Satz war einfach so alt, dass die neue Saite dagegen mit so vielen Höhen und Obertönen dagegen "schnalzte", dass ich dann doch einen ganzen neuen Satz draufgezogen habe.
Die Saiten klingen wirklich gut, halten lange und sind zwar nicht der ganz untere Preisrang, dafür aber gut verarbeitet und schön "weich", also man muss keine Hornhaut in Zentimeterdicke besitzen, um diese Saiten zu spielen.

Nice single steel string for bass with an interesting .025 size

First - I want to thank Thomann for hold such a wide selection of Pyramid bass single strings that also holds this .025 bass string.
I bought this quality bass string as an alternative to my current F-string that usually has the 0.20 or .022 size. This .025 option was quite interesting and of course it should deliver a bit more fundamentals to the regular F-string and that was my main goal for purchase.
My first concern however was if it could make or break during the first tuning up to high F - but it went great... so far. (I shall give you an update when I have had it on for a longer time - to see what this .025 really can do).
One tiny remark on the down side, however: I prefer the nickel plated steel string over a regular steel string, but as a stainless steel string it delivers its tone quite diligently as expected.
