I recently purchased the PureLink PureTools PT-SP-HD14-48G and I have to say, it is a fantastic piece of equipment for anyone needing to split a signal for gaming live streams or multi-screen gameplay videos. This splitter has exceeded my expectations in every way.
Build Quality and Design: Right out of the box, I was impressed by the solid construction. Despite its compact size—much smaller than I anticipated—it is surprisingly heavy, giving it a very robust feel. The compact nature is a major plus if you’re tight on space or looking for something that can be easily incorporated into a crowded setup. The power supply even comes with a screw lock to secure the connection, ensuring there’s no risk of accidentally pulling the plug and losing signal, which is a brilliant feature for reliability. The mounting brackets included make it easy to attach to a flat surface or a mini rack, adding to its versatility.
Performance: The PureTools PT-SP-HD14-48G performs superbly. I use it to split my gaming signal to multiple screens, an Elgato 4K X capture card, and my Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme ISO. The signal quality is flawless with no noticeable lag or degradation—exactly what you need for professional streaming and recording. It’s clear that this product was made with quality in mind, and it does its job perfectly.
Small Improvements: The only thing I found missing is rubber feet. The unit has four bumps on the bottom side that serve as feet, but they are just the sheet metal pushed out, which means it can slip easily and potentially scratch polished surfaces. It would have been nice to have non-slip rubber feet included, but this is easily solved. Personally, I use heavy-duty self-adhesive Velcro strips for all my small pieces of equipment, which helps me stack and secure everything to my makeshift racks.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the PureLink PT-SP-HD14-48G. It’s reliable, compact, and the quality is outstanding. For anyone who needs a rock-solid splitter for gaming or streaming setups, I can wholeheartedly recommend it!
